3411 PROHIBITION OF WEAPONS ON SCHOOL GROUNDS
With the exception of law enforcement officers, as permitted by law, and individuals who have the express written permission of the Board of Education or its designee, no person may have in his/her possession any weapon on school grounds, in any District building, on a school bus, or other school-related transportation, or District vehicle, at any school sponsored activity or at any setting under the control and supervision of the District. This prohibition shall include, but not be limited to: any of the objects or instruments referred to in Section 265.01 of the New York State Penal Law; any air-gun, spring-gun or other instrument or weapon in which the propelling force is a spring, air, piston or CO2 cartridge; and any object that could be considered a reasonable facsimile of a weapon.
