8410 COMMUNITY EDUCATION
The Board of Education supports a program of community education classes which will meet the requirements outlined by the Commissioner's Regulations and the Education Laws.
The Board shall endeavor to establish a community education program providing the community with a broad scope of courses. Courses to be offered shall depend upon the regular assessment of community needs. The curriculum shall be kept flexible at all times in order to satisfy the intellectual, social, vocational, and recreational needs of the community.
The community education program will be administered by the Superintendent or his/her designee and shall be self-supporting through the collection of appropriate fees as well as through state aid, federal aid, and other non-district revenue.
