March 10, 2015 - The Williamsville Central School District has announced a $23 million capital improvement project to address specific facility needs at all of its schools. New York State building aid will pay for about 72 percent of the work and the district will cover the balance of the cost with no local tax increase, according to Superintendent Scott G. Martzloff. The project will be represented by Proposition #2 on the May 19, 2015 ballot for the Annual District Vote.
In addition to state building aid, the district’s level debt service plan and capital reserve fund will be used to finance the project cost. The district's long-range capital improvement plan serves to maintain the community's investment value in its school buildings while updating facilities, as needed, for educational use.
The proposed work will focus on projects in four categories: energy savings; health and safety; infrastructure; and American Disability Act (ADA) requirements. Click on the school, below, for a summary sheet of the proposed work and its cost for each building.
