S.T.E.M. Activities

This month, students in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades are discussing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.) through activities designed for hands-on learning.

The challenge?
How can your team use the materials provided to create the tallest possible structure at your table?

The materials?
Construction paper, coffee filters, cardboard circles, pencils, and toothpicks - that's it!  No tape, no glue!

The record?
One team from Mrs. Brinkerhoff's class holds the record for tallest structure at 36 and 1/2 inches!

We had so much fun!
