Board Meeting Recap

Enrollment projections and an overview of budget performance based on the year-end audit were main topics of discussion at the November 14 School Board meeting. 

The annual enrollment report was presented by Dr. Steven Grossman of the R/E/D Group out of Syracuse, NY. According to the report, enrollment is projected to decrease by three percent over the next five years, decreasing from 9,967 students currently to 9,680 by 2022-2023. Setting the stage for upcoming budget development work, Thomas Maturski, Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Managment Services, provided a brief analysis of the 2016-17 audit.  His presentation is available at the link below.
