Attention Mrs. Miranda's author's groups. The 8th grade authors group is cancelled for this Friday. Mrs. Miranda is very sorry but the 8th grade Future City team needs one more practice before their competition this weekend.

What are you doing this weekend? Break a leg. But that is not all Transit's 8th grade Future City team Ouerencia (Kware-en-seeah) is going to the competition Saturday. After months of planning, compromising, writing essays, researching, building models, playing SimCity, writing presentations, and project plans, they will finally present their Utopian city of Ouerencia to judges on Saturday. Transit wishes the best of luck to: Ryan Chou, Cian Colgan, Emily Goldstein, Sarah Hicks, Leah Huang, Aditri Khadilkar, Elliet Strang, Eleen Waffner, Waverly Wobschall, and to the team presenters: Allison Li, Luke Lostumbo, Kennedy Intihar.
