March 09, 2026
Dear Williamsville Central School District Families,
As you know, the District will be entering the final year of the 2022-2027 Strategic Plan when school begins in the fall of 2026. While we have made progress and continued our commitment to academic excellence throughout the District, we know our work is not complete.
We are in the process of developing the 2027-2032 Strategic Plan and will be sharing a timeline of implementation during the March 10th Board of Education meeting. Using our current plan as a blueprint, we understand there are opportunities for continued refinement and enhancement throughout the District. Your involvement and engagement in this process are vital.
We are seeking parents and guardians to be members of the 2027-2032 Strategic Planning Committee. If you are interested, please complete the Interest Form on the District website and designate whether you would like to represent the elementary, middle, or high school level. The interest form will close on Friday, April 17th. A lottery will then be held to determine members. Beginning in September, there will be full-day, monthly meetings to establish the Goal Areas and associated Action Steps.
Our goal is to present the next Strategic Plan to the Board of Education in April of 2027, with adoption in June, and implementation beginning July of 2027.
Strategic Planning is one of the most important processes we undertake and is essential for grounding the District in a long-term vision, ensuring alignment of our resources to meet the needs of all students, and proactively adapting to the evolving educational landscape.
We look forward to partnering with you on this initiative.
Sincerely,
Dr. Darren J. Brown-Hall
Superintendent of Schools
