LOTE Enrichment Activities

Many opportunities exist for children to enrich their language learning.  In our schools we have programs and activities that represent a variety of cultures.  These programs and activities are implemented throughout the school year within classrooms to foster a greater understanding of the various target cultures.

In our schools, the LOTE programs offer students opportunities such as:

  • dancing
  • listening and speaking daily announcements in various languages
  • tongue-twister contests
  • spelling bees
  • geography bees
  • foreign languages clubs
