The faculty, staff and parents of Maple West are committed to high standards and appreciation of the Arts, we dedicate ourselves to developing the Special Talents of ALL students to think Creatively and Critically, to apply their knowledge and to accept Responsibility for Learning and growth in order to become Confident Learners and Productive Citizens in our school and community.

Maple West  has been selected was the top 2018 School of Excellence, and the Phoebe Apperson Hearst Outstanding Family-School Partnership Award winner by the National PTA.   The Phoebe Apperson Hearst Awards for innovation in family engagement, named after National PTA co-founder Phoebe Apperson Hearst, recognize and celebrate achievement in building effective family-school partnerships.  The awards are presented to PTAs that have earned the National PTA School of Excellence designation and demonstrated outstanding success engaging families in student success and school improvements. The awards are the highest honor National PTA presents to effective family engagement.

 
Maple West is a very special place.  It’s special because of people… students, parents and staff.  The partnership between school and home is the most important component to ensure your child’s success. Experience tells us that student success is achieved at a greater rate the more involved parents are in their child’s education.  Each day is a new beginning and continuation of a positive home-school relationship that I hope will last for years to come.
