Child Abuse Hotline

Section 409-1 of the New York Education Law, which became effective January 17, 2017, requires schools to post English and Spanish information for the toll-free number operated by the New York State Office of Child and Family Services (NYS OCFS).   Should you suspect or have knowledge that you or a child is being abused or maltreated report it immediately by contacting the number below.

The toll-free telephone number operated by the NYS OCFS to report child abuse or neglect is 1-800-342-3720.
