 Big win for Modified Baseball 6-3 over Amherst!

 Congratulations Physical Education students of the month for June! Sixth graders Tyler Krol, Rus Panesar and Colden Smith, along with 7th graders Jay and Raj Panesar and 8th grader Michael Nasief earned this month’s honors! Congrats!

 Amazing job to everyone who participated in Williamsville’s last track meet. Great shotput and discus by Dante, Jordin and Alessia. Nice job to Julia for being undefeated in the 100-meter and nice job to Sofia, Alessia, Jordin and everyone who ran it!  Nice 200-meter win by Hannah. Great run by Siena, Hannah, Sofija and Julia, and way to be undefeated!  Also, to Keith, Kameron, Evan and Andrew.  Great season everyone!

Today is yearbook distribution day!  Teachers, please distribute the yearbooks to your students during homebase today.

 Attention to any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girls interested in playing JV or Modified Soccer at East High School next school year.  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, June 16th at 8:30 in the Phys. Ed. Hallway.  You must attend this meeting to get the necessary information.

Visual Arts

To learn and visually communicate in unique ways, creating works of art.  These talented students critically analyze, interpret, and judge visual imagery in a rapidly changing world. They have cultivated artistic behaviors and strategies, expanding their visual perception and intellectual skills that are essential for academic life and aid in understanding the world in which they live. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “In art, the hand can never execute anything higher than the heart can inspire.”

SCIENCE/EARTH SCIENCE

Our teachers of science have nominated students based on the idea that Sir William Bragg articulated, “The important thing in science is not so much to obtain new facts, as to discover new ways of thinking about them.” Transit teachers are working with our next generation of doctors, geologists, meteorologists and researchers.
